Back to schoo, back to schoo ... to prove that I'm not a foo...

Back to school I go...

I'm very, very excited to begin my Bachelor's program. I'm well-rested. I'm organized. I'm ready to be educated. Bring it on, UOP bitches! (Sorry for the curse. I kind of had to.)

Thank you to my family for a fantabulous Christmas. It was stinking awesome.

I love you all.

Peace, love, and bologna.

Hollywood Undead, Part Duece.

More pictures from the concert! I had a blast!!!

Hollywoood Undead, Baby!

As those close to me already know, I love the band that is Hollywood Undead. Their music is so unique, so different from anything else I've heard. Last night, after months of painful anticipation, I finally attended their concert. Words cannot describe just how much fun I had. They are one of the few bands that are better live than they are on an album.
On a routine trip to the restroom, Tatyana (a very cool chick and one of my favorite people) and I just happened upon one of the members of Hollywood Undead, Deuce. (Thank you, Tat's bladder!)
He was the most humble famous person I've had the opportunity to meet. I have to admit the encounter rendered me a bit of a dork, but I'm very glad I had the opportunity to meet an artist whose work I admire so much. I'll be posting more pictures ... soon!

I have a degree!!!

Attention one and all! I now have an associate's degree! Wa-hoo!!!
My final grades just came in ... all A's. I'm very proud. And excited.

Where are you, Christmas?

I love Christmas. I mean, I love Christmas more than the usual Joe. In fact, my dad confirmed that I love Christmas even more than, well, him. I love the decorations. I love giving gifts. I love being with family. Heck, I love egg nog.
This year, though ... well, this year I'm having a tough time finding Christmas.
I see so much sadness in the earth. So much pain. So much hate.
Finances are preventing me from giving really righteous gifts like I did last year.
Perhaps you all can help me find Christmas this year ... share some stories ... remind me of the reason for the season.

Accounting 220 is outta here!

I just finished my accounting course ... what a pain in the neck! I don't know how I mustered the strength to earn a 96% in the class. I am just glad that I was able to maintain my 4.0 GPA. Wish me luck as I begin my international business class. :)

Where is Heaven? Is it Far Away?

I'd like to think it is in my own back yard! Just thought I'd share this pretty picture I took on the road the other day. Enjoy!

I'm a salad shooter!

... Also known as a vegetarian. I decided to change my diet after a few months of being ill. My stomach feels GREAT! I have more energy, and I even sleep better. I know, I know. You may all think I'm a bit crazy for making such a huge change, but I must admit I have not felt this healthy in years.

Playing Dress-Up

I have a super-dee-duper-long string of black beads that I just love to wear. I have to double up the necklace to get it to rest somewhere above my knees. Each time I hang the ebony beads around my neck I am transformed from a bill-paying, hard-working, full-time student into a mom's-heels-wearing, twirly-dancing, barbie-toting little girl.

KA by Cirque du Soleil: The Best Gift Ever

My sweetheart surprised me with tickets to KA ... a Cirque du Soleil show ... for our anniversary. He knew that I've been dying to go to a Cirque du Soleil show since I was a child. The show was simply amazing! I ooh-ed and aaah-ed the whole time. The acrobats in the show are blessed with such unique talents. If you ever get a chance to see a Cirque du Soleil show, please do. You certainly won't regret it.

Wonderful World

As of late, I have really enjoyed taking pictures of the fabulous area in which my husband and I live. We are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place! The sunsets here are phenomenal. My poor husband has to put up with me click-clicking every time I see a cloud ... or a pretty wild flower ... or a cool bug.

School Daze

I am now attending the University of Phoenix. I must admit that the combination of work and school has proved challenging at times, but I have to say that I've never been happier. I love to learn. I am very lucky to have a such a supportive husband. I have been blessed with enough time and energy to manage a 4.0 GPA ... a feat I am quite proud of.

I will graduate with my first degree (Associates in Business) in November. I very much look forward to finally getting a degree. After graduation, I will head straight into my Bachelor's program (Hospitality Management). I also plan to earn a Master's Degree.

The Fourth of July!!!

I love, love Independence Day. This year's celebration was nothing short of spectacular. Jen and Stew were nice enough to let us view the fireworks from their front porch ... about 10 yards away from the fireworks launch pad. Enjoy the video!
